ABOUT AMELIA

Amelia began volunteering with One Step in 2019 which led to her working with us in a Youth Project Worker role.

​

She has a varied background, originally training as a Mental Health Nurse, then working with animals suffering from abuse and neglect for many years.

 

Amelia is now helping to support young people through various pathways and creative projects as well as coordinating our fabulous volunteers.

What is your guilty pleasure?

90's Garage, Rap, and Drum and Base.

 

Who is your hero?

The women in my family who are all brilliant.

​

What is your proudest moment?

Keeping my house plants alive.

 

You're going to be stuck on a desert island for the rest of your days. What 3 things are you taking with you?

Music, my two sausage dogs, purple shampoo.
