ABOUT ANGELA

What’s your guilty pleasure?

Chocolate straight from the fridge.

Sometimes even a whole chocolate orange if I’ve had a bad day!! But I never feel guilty.

Who’s your hero?

Hmm...that’s a difficult one.

Cheesy answer but there are so many people out there who are heroes everyday for the amazing things they do to support others.

I won’t embarrass them all here but you know who you are!

Sometimes I am just in awe of those who keep getting up in the mornings despite living with challenges in their lives.

You’re proudest moment?

Carefully incubating and hatching 4 chicks a few years ago. They were the cutest things ever and looked at me like I was their Mum.

But they all turned out to be boys and ended up in the Village Soup Lunch Friday special.....

You’re going to be stuck on a desert island for the rest of your days. What 3 things are you taking with you?

The entire Stephen King book collection, sand proof shoes and a jigsaw puzzle of the Eildons......or maybe just a genie in a lamp and 2 chocolate oranges?

Angela started volunteering with One Step in 2018 and is now one of our Youth Project Workers.

She comes from a background of working with young people in education, LGBT community and the great outdoors!

She loves working in this sector because she can make a positive difference to the lives of young people.
